I'd love to get a side mount opener but so far, standing under my ceiling mount one, I haven't had a problem.

400-500 is what I've seen. Having busted a perfectly fine opener at my old house, I'd probably look at one if I went that route again.

Paid $750 to install. But needed an electrician to put an outlet up in the corner too. Since the opener was on its last legs, it was a good investment. Amazing how it opened up the garage.
