HeyChy Cute-X1 Mini Massage Gun Review

We recently looked at HeyChy’s Mini Massage Gun and found ourselves impressed with its small size, solid performance, and attractive price. The company has released a full line of massage guns in different sizes, and seeing our receptiveness decided to send an even smaller option for the traveling golfer with the Cute-X1. While this, in many ways, is almost the same exact product we reviewed just a couple months ago, there are some key differences that may make it a better fit for you.

Cute-X1 Features and Details

Super Mini Design for Your Pocket – Our mini massage gun only weights 0.6lbs, which can be easily put in both bags and pockets. The ergonomic T-shaped design and skin like feel makes you love it, and you can easily carry it in the gym, office and traveling to relax yourself.

Ultra-Superior 3C Power Battery – This massage gun equipped with 3C power battery that has 3X discharge rate for more powerful current output. 650mAh battery capacity allows it to be used continuously for 5 hours, which is far superior to other mini massage guns.

Lighter but Packed with Power – Our percussion massager gun is built with innovative High-Torque Brushless Motor, which has powerful energy and lossless output. 7mm amplitude can directly attack on the deep muscle group to bring you refreshed and relaxed massage experience.

Charge Anytime, Anywhere – This percussion muscle massager gun can be charged by USB (type-c) with 5v/2a adapter (Not Include) or power bank. You don’t have to worry about charging again, even when traveling.

Personalized Wellness – Our handheld percussion massager gun provides 5 different speed levels and 4 different attachments. You could freely choose any speed and attachment depending on the levels of your muscle soreness or pain by pressing the power button.

Product Dimensions – 2.8 x 1.54 x 4.8 inches

Weight – 8oz

When looking at the Cute-X1 next to the Mini Massage Gun, it’s easy to see the key differences. Coming in just under 5 inches tall and 8 ounces in weight, The Cute-X1 is a “mini” mini massage gun. It takes the concept of handheld to a different level, while still retaining what appears and feels like almost the exact same feature set. The 7mm amplitude and stainless-steel shaft are both a part of this version, though it should be noted it has about half the battery life and the four attachments are smaller. Both products exhibit the same solid design and build qualities, though we can’t comment on long-term durability.

While we can’t say this size difference is groundbreaking, it does fit into small spaces better, like for example a small pocket on your golf bag. Unlike the Mini Massage Gun, which has a relatively robust carrying case, the Cute-X1 comes with a soft carrying bag. In reality, even with less ability to protect the massage gun this is much more convenient for traveling anyway.

In terms of performance, the Cute-X1 compares favorably to its (slightly) larger sibling, except for the previously noted difference in battery life. Side-by-side and back-to-back comparisons showed that it was almost impossible to detect a difference between the two, at least as far as intensity is concerned. The smaller attachments on the Cute-X1 (see picture above for comparison) did provide for a slightly different sensation, but be assured you won’t be missing any of the potential benefits because of this.

The smaller size and weight could reduce fatigue holding the device, but we never found any issues with this when using the Mini Massage Gun either. However, those with smaller hands may find the Cute-X1 a bit more ergonomic. While some may wonder why a smaller version of this product exists, we love to see options available to consumers, and the Cute-X1 should be a good match for many.
