Fans of The Office may recognize the quote, “What are we talking about? Skins, Acey-Deucy, Bingo Bango Bongo, Sandies, Barkies, Arnies, Wolf—what?” from the scene where Kevin Malone is waiting on the tee box with Jim, Andy, and Jim’s prospective client. In today’s release from Callaway Golf, if any of those guys had pulled out a sleeve of the new Chrome Tour Lone Wolf golf balls, Kevin would have received his answer in a fun and stylish way.
Callaway has a history of releasing limited-edition custom golf balls and has always been creative with them. Recently, they launched a Chrome Tour Golf Hearts version to celebrate Valentine’s Day and a Chrome Tour Year of the Dragon design to mark the Lunar New Year.
These limited-edition releases are taking place on more than just any Callaway golf ball, far from it. They are adding these designs to the new Chrome Tour ball, which Callaway refers to proudly as the new gold standard in tour balls. If you want to join the conversation surrounding the performance golfers have experienced with the new Chrome Tour line, click here.
The Lone Wolf design is meant to introduce golfers to a fun game they may have not played before on the course. Here is a quick rundown of the rules for those who have never played Wolf within their foursome.
- Players determine the order of their tee-off by flipping a tee at the beginning of the game, and it rotates throughout the round.
- The player who tees off last on each hole is considered the Wolf.
- After each tee shot, the Wolf must decide to partner with that player before the next player tees off.
- Want to go it alone? Play as the Lone Wolf and take on all the other group members.
- The golfer with the most points at the end of the round is the winner.
The Lone Wolf golf balls are now available for purchase online. For more information, please visit www.callawaygolf.com.

Do you collect them? I always buy the limited stuff if you’re looking for any.

Just ones that represent courses I’ve played. Any LE ones directly bought from Callaway I donate to the woods or water gods. There may be a couple more I have not shown as this pic is 2 years old.

Awesome, hope to find course ones more often, but only one I’ve got at this point is the Hideaway. Some others I picked up in random packs too I guess.

So is a game of Wolf coming to a THP experience?
No.
If we don’t play Wolf next time we meet, then what has all this been for @ddec ?

I’m not giving you four points. That’s for sure.

I’m just going to auto pick you anyway. We will either dominate or it will torture you. Either way…it’s happening.

We’d dominate from 5,400 yards.

Those other guys don’t stand a chance.
This is a cool concept.
those are great. would be an awesome gamer ball even if you don’t play Wolf.

TruTrack and other alignment Callaway options have spoiled me. I don’t think I will ever go back and play a Truvis ball. I do like this design and the wolf game, but I am just not a fan of Truvis anymore.

Don’t you worry, will have a few things up your alley this year. More to come!
Awesome I love it!!!
These look great and it’s a fun game to play while golfing.
These are sick!! Haven’t played Wolf in a few years, but need to again soon, fun way to play partner golf but changing up teams throughout

I appreciate the limited release balls a lot and love that so many like this one.
Callaway has just done too good of a job on the alignment aids for me to not play them. I love TT, TT360, TruTrack and even the splatter 360. Truvis is just not for me. I even went to the site to see if I could do it, because I love wolves and the Lone Wolf game.
I will be all in on some limited release in Chrome Tour with alignment. Especially TruTrack.
I love the idea of golf balls being released around different unique golf games that can be played in a group. That’s a cool concept for sure.
Buying some now!
3 dozen acquired. Haven’t played Chrome Tour yet, but that may happen on Saturday so I can decide if I’m ordering more of these (before and assuming they haven’t sold out). One dozen is for sure going to the guy who invited me to the Masters Tuesday practice round.
