Fans of The Office may recognize the quote, “What are we talking about? Skins, Acey-Deucy, Bingo Bango Bongo, Sandies, Barkies, Arnies, Wolf—what?” from the scene where Kevin Malone is waiting on the tee box with Jim, Andy, and Jim’s prospective client. In today’s release from Callaway Golf, if any of those guys had pulled out a sleeve of the new Chrome Tour Lone Wolf golf balls, Kevin would have received his answer in a fun and stylish way.
Callaway has a history of releasing limited-edition custom golf balls and has always been creative with them. Recently, they launched a Chrome Tour Golf Hearts version to celebrate Valentine’s Day and a Chrome Tour Year of the Dragon design to mark the Lunar New Year.
These limited-edition releases are taking place on more than just any Callaway golf ball, far from it. They are adding these designs to the new Chrome Tour ball, which Callaway refers to proudly as the new gold standard in tour balls. The Lone Wolf design is meant to introduce golfers to a fun game they may have not played before on the course. Here is a quick rundown of the rules for those who have never played Wolf within their foursome.
- Players determine the order of their tee-off by flipping a tee at the beginning of the game, and it rotates throughout the round.
- The player who tees off last on each hole is considered the Wolf.
- After each tee shot, the Wolf must decide to partner with that player before the next player tees off.
- Want to go it alone? Play as the Lone Wolf and take on all the other group members.
- The golfer with the most points at the end of the round is the winner.
The Lone Wolf golf balls are now available for purchase online. For more information, please visit www.callawaygolf.com.
Love this! Ball looks fantastic and plus rules for the game.
Fun little mini game within golf, honestly I do not have any recollection of that from the office. I still think that it’s fun and a good write up @ddec
Now that’s something to howl about.
The design looks really cool, fully admit I’m oblivious to all things Office and the game so for me it’s something that goes over my head, at least initially.
These are fun! Something different than a special holiday ball or something like that! I like it

It’s absolutely amazing what they can do we these logo’s on golf balls. Never really got into the Office, but love the design.
I am a fan of the different designs Calllaway has and this is another one. Bonus points for helping to introduce another type of game to play on the course.

Its not really from the Office, just a reference that was made to the game of Wolf.

After reading the article again it hit me…

These are cool. I haven’t played Lone Wolf in a long time.
That’s a fun concept and well executed. I wonder if more games are coming.
Very cool idea, and even cooler execution.
I love a good game of Wolf on the course and these balls are perfect. If I was a CT player, I would be all over these.
Cool. Wolf is such a fun game!!!
You’ll see Wolf played by some of the YouTube guys now and then. It looks like a fun way to mix it up on the course. The ball itself looks really cool too.
Never played Wolf 😳 But the balls look really cool.
Balls look great!

it’s a fun one when you have a group who wants some kind of game without having a straight match.
Have never played the game but the ball is pretty cool. I like the concept and execution with the rules included and explained.
The logo itself looks cool.
they look absolutely fantastic.
Wolf is such a funny, frustrating game haha
Love it! Used to play a lot of “WOLF” back in the day!!
Great logo Callaway is killing it so far with the cool designs this year.
I haven’t played Wolf, but it sounds fun. Cool logo too!
Packaging is great. Love that the number was replaced with WOLF on the ball.
The group I play with most tends to lean more Bingo, Bango, Bongo, but will throw in Wolf every once in a while to mix it up.
Its funny, I knew about the game, but never about the Office reference.
I think the idea behind the ball is fun, but not necessarily that it would spur me on to go purchase them.
These are super cool. Love the idea and execution. Havent played Wolf in some time, but letting the Wolf have a designated ball is a very cool touch.
This is absolutely brilliant.
Also great writeup @ddec with the office reference nestled in there too.
I like that Callaway is doing fun stuff on their premium ball. It’s a golf ball we all want to hit, so it’s not technically a budget buster if it’s something we were purchasing anyways?
Those look spectacular!
These limited edition balls are great.
These look great and love the tie in to a game. Never was really that into limited edition balls, but Callaway has been doing a great job so far and got me to buy my first ones earlier this year.
What I really like about this release is that it’s not just a ball with donuts on it, granted I loved the Taco Bell ball. There’s more to it than that. Very well done by Callaway here.
Cool ball.
Wow, these are really nice! I bet the guy who made them is super cool and awesome (and a very average golfer).
Who wants to play some wolf?

I’m assuming these are what @MBrennanCG was hinting at?
Dang….never heard of this game, but it sounds fun. One box ordered if for nothing else, that I think the design is cool.
Such a cool concept and even better execution here
TruTrack and other alignment Callaway options have spoiled me. I don’t think I will ever go back and play a Truvis ball. I do like this design and the wolf game, but I am just not a fan of Truvis anymore.
So is a game of Wolf coming to a THP experience?
We will play wolf a lot when we are out for a weekday afternoon or just a group on the weekends not in the MGA
My golfing buddy’s last name is Wolf, I bet he would really like these balls.
Love these and all the special editions Callaway comes out with. They nailed the packaging.
These are fun. I’ve never played wolf but want to now.
I like the design. Some cool stuff on the way.
Never heard of or played Wolf, but I’m all about custom Truvis balls (those balls are how I initially found THP).
I’ll use them to represent House Stark of Winterfell

Off to buy a dozen.
