Limited Edition Vokey WedgeWorks 64W

Since the release of the Titleist Vokey SM9 wedges back in January of 2022, a number of WedgeWorks limited editions have come out. The K Grind followed by the T Grind and more recently the Jet Black Premium wedge have all been well received.

Today this introduction of the Limited Edition Vokey WedgeWorks 64W is one of the more fascinating to come out however. Inspired by a collaboration from Bob Vokey and Tour Rep Aaron Dill, the 64W is designed for players seeking a high loft option (obviously). With that said, it is a pretty unique design for specific players.

The images tell part of the story here. The WedgeWorks Limited Edition 64W is done in the Jet Black Premium finish. Designed for durability, Titanium Carbide Vapor goes through an improved heat-treated binding process. This adds to the longevity one can expect before wear patterns begin to set in. While it may not have the longevity of say a DBM, the Jet Black Premium has held its own and has become a fan favorite.

So what is the 64W? The obvious part is that it has 64 degrees of loft, but there are some subtle nuances that make this a pretty unique design. Slight camber is found with medium width, which is designed to help create speed through the turf. The WedgeWorks Limited Edition 64W has an effective bounce of 4 degrees.

“This wedge is ideal for the player with quick hands who likes to see the ball elevate quickly, or the fearless player who isn’t afraid to attack any pin”, said Bob Vokey.

The total package makes the product stand out. The head is mirrored in some ways with a True Temper Dynamic Gold Black Onyx S200 shaft and capped on the end with a Golf Pride 360 Blackout grip. If looking for that “murdered out look”, few offer it as well as this one.

“I started getting calls and texts from players curious about a 64° wedge that they could use at certain times during the season”, said Aaron Dill. “There are golf courses and green complexes that require more loft or bunkers that may be deeper than expected. As we worked through this project, the consensus from players was a wedge that has lower bounce, is faster through the turf and gives more of a skid and slide feeling on the bottom. It’s a really cool option to have available when the conditions call for it.”

Wedgeworks 64W opened up

You have had these conversations with yourself before. We all have. Catch the lip of the bunker and wonder, how high of a lofted wedge does one really want or need. The WedgeWorks 64W won’t be for everybody, hence the limited edition nature of the release. But it will be for some, and helps with a specific niche of player or shot.

Prefer a different shaft or grip? WedgeWorks Limited Edition 64W can also be custom ordered from a pretty large selection of shafts, grips, ferrules and more. For a complete list of options, visit www.Vokey.com.

WedgeWorks also brings in some personalization. There are a handful of toe engravings to choose from as well as stamping options for those that want to get a bit more unique.

The 64W drops today with a price of $275 and will be available while supplies last. For more information, or to pick one up, head over to the Vokey WedgeWorks shop here.
