At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by us, but also by the golfers just like you. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, hybrids, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing. Who wants to test the brand new Edison 2.0 Wedges?
Edison 2.0 Wedges
Last week, Edison released their brand new 2.0 wedges. If you missed our full preview of the new release, you can find it here. Completely redesigned with playability and performance in mind, the Edison 2.0 wedges are unique. We want to hear what you think about them.
Criteria
We will select a group of Four THPers to test the new wedges.
You must be able to check in on the forum thread daily (or close to it) to discuss and answer questions.
You will be reviewing the Edison 2.0 Wedges for 90 days and then it is yours to keep.
How to Signup
Comment below and answer these 3 questions.
1. What wedges do you currently have in the bag?
2. What lofts of the Edison 2.0 wedges would you like to test (pick 2)
3. What features from the article linked above stand out?
We will announce the testers next week. If you want to learn more about the Edison brand or any of their products, check out their website at www.edisonwedges.com.

That is not what the website says.

The Details
Edison Golf’s new 2.0 wedges will initially be released in odd numbered lofts from 45 to 59 degrees. The plan is eventually to include even lower lofted options (37, 39, 41, 43) and create an even broader set of options for golfers. That addition combined with the offering of only odd numbered lofts aims to further accentuate the differentiation of Edison compared to every other wedge maker out there, though you can request even numbered lofts which will be met by adjusting odd numbered heads. The Edison 2.0 wedges will be priced at $199.95 (steel) and $214.95 (graphite) with various shaft options at release.

It’s what the linked article said, did you read it? I couldn’t in my wildest mis-read have read it differently! ?

I read it as well and then I looked on the website before posting my entry. I was surprised by the discrepancy, but figured if the website says that even lofted wedges are available, I would rely on the company’s website.

This answers it, although the fitting app even fit me into a 58*, if I remember correctly. Thanks for pointing it out.
Lot of people love these. Looking forward to this testing rolling out and hearing about the 2.0’s.

You could be right, I just read the article as the Gospel, but I see the even lofts clearly on yours from the web! Good snag on that, that’ll teach me to be lazy in my research! I did find it very “odd” pun intended that they only offered odd lofts! Take care @Tenputt ! ???
Been a while since I’ve thrown in for a testing. Hitting the ball well right now (not too well @Greg Kulbick) , why not try right?
1. What wedges do you currently have in the bag?
Cobra Snakebite 50-54-58
2. What lofts of the Edison 2.0 wedges would you like to test (pick 2)
54-58
3. What features from the article linked above stand out
The higher CG is interesting, it would be fun to compare to what I have and mentally to what I’ve hit before. The second is a more cavity backed wedge, that is typically not what I’m looking for in a wedge. The only other kind I’ve played was an RTX CB and that was interesting to say the least. Could be fun, could be different, we would find out!

You’re both right. They bend to accommodate
I currently have a 54 Cleveland CBX 2 and a 58 Cleveland CBX Fullface. I do hit these Clevelands very high so would love to try the Edison 54 and 59 wedges to compare ball flight. These are also the lofts the fitting app recommended for me.
