Genuinely curious, why not?

Because sometimes things are lost in translation for those that just listen or watch and are not a part of this forum.
But I will just never understand it.
I liked the part, “ @jdtox man… fuck that guy”
I laughed out loud really hard at that cause it took me by surprise
I also called people fucking idiots.
I have regrets haha

Makes sense. It’s easy to forget how much reach outside the forum there is.
Sounded like you needed to do it though.
That was a pretty epic WGP, lots of passion today!
Super curious about these tiny irons that are super forgiving. That is something I have been asking for. a MB size, hollow body iron. Just seems fun.

Sometimes the truth hurts. If you have life pop up and you’re testing something, you have an obligation to that company as well as THP. Might wanna say something about it so you just peace out with something brand new that has now one less person to answer questions about it.
Started and then had to hit the pause button a couple times due to covering for another manager that is out, but this was a fantastic listen.
Man, am I excited to see what is coming out with irons. I want new irons, but I’m pumping the breaks based on @JB ‘s conversation about the tech part of it and what is to come. To @JB thanks for answering my question about the biggest/coolest opportunity THP has allowed you to have. Sounds like a lot of good things, but definitely cool to live through you and @GolferGal a little hearing those stories haha.
Love the “Bless your heart, idiot.” comment. I laughed so hard. Pool noodle drill is the real deal. My coach has me constantly doing it to shallow me out. I invested in them after breaking the adapter on the end of my driver shaft (luckily not the driver).
Lastly, I could not agree more about the testing equipment talk. I really hope it doesn’t go away as it’s one of the coolest things I brag to all my non-THP friends about is the opportunity to do so. Other than this community being full of great people overall, it’s one of the things that drew me in to the AC membership. No, not getting the free crap, but actually getting to test equipment out and tell others about it and learn about the equipment that others are testing, that are average golfers just like me. Just sucks to have to even hear the convo about it possibly going away. Hope it doesn’t, but completely understand if it does.
Enjoyed it. Good show. I love the talk on lessons and instruction. Looking forward to everything coming up this month. Lots of Dormie Club!!

The talk about new iron tech is really exciting, I’m also really curious to see what’s coming. More compact irons with more forgiveness than their GI predecessors is amazing stuff.

I’ve been in interviews all day looking forward to watching this one…

As he said, I originally pitched a video. You hoops could have been a part of that lol
Ooooo Greybull a possibility in the future? That’s exciting! I know the pricing structure was going to be an excluder there but it’s cool to hear that may still be seen in the future
Great show!! Lots of good stuff. I like when you guys are fiery, makes for a really interesting listen. Would love to learn more about the golf industry family tree. Sounds interesting to me.
It would be really cool to see a “Shaft Boot Camp” episode/series on THP TV. Would love to learn more about shaft technology.

I was just listening to this, and paused the show to come say this exact thing. Incredible!
My meeting ran late. Will tune in over lunch. Sounds like it’s a good one!
I finally watched and my new tech question sent JB into a rant. Sorry ?
Interested in @JB ‘s pairing philosophy lol

When new, but then at a year I feel like your iPhone needs multiple charges to get through a day. I’m not an iPhone user, but my wife is and this is her complaint. But maybe she’s just wanting to upgrade, and this is a convenient excuse :ROFLMAO:.

Much like golf clubs, glad that we have options, even if some are better than others!
Mine is also 2-3 years in and I usually have 20% at the end of the day. Roughly 18 hours of use including pretty heavy media consumption.

Listening to the podcast version right now, this is probably the best episode to date. Love the tech talk, one question for @JB. Why would thicker soles on irons be considered more forgiving?
Stupid work got in the way of being able to view live, so catching up now.
Also. It was mentioned in the Grandaddy group chat but the Callaway guys posting Grandaddy scripting before The Open is crazy.
Awesome show, EPIC rant! It was needed.:D
I’m trying to tune in live, but you know the work thing is happening.
Question – Getting someone started in golf, they/you don’t know the full commitment yet, but want to introduce the game. What’s the best way? Bring them along on a solo round and let them see the game first hand from the course, or ease them in with the practice range or something like Top Golf?
For me my girl wanted to try it out. Her parents play golf but she’d never shown interest. In her country you don’t just go play golf. You have to prove competency. So I took her to the driving range. I’m a lefty and she’s not so playing from my bag wasn’t going to happen. I’m not going to hinder her interest in the game by handicapping her on the wrong side of the ball.
I paid a visit to CPO and picked up a few clubs for her that would be forgiving and easier to hit. She LOVED it at the driving range especially when she hit the sweet spot and the ball just sailed away… you know, like what keeps a lot of us coming back.
Anyway, she went back to her country and signed up for some lessons. Came back to visit and we played several rounds. She’s terrible at it just like I am but we have a load of fun on the course playing and we’re going to play a lot more. And, AND!!! She’s looking into getting MORE clubs. She wants ones at home like what I got for her. She got some clubs from her mom but they’re pretty old and her instructor won’t let her hit the woods because the shafts are so whippy.
Speaking of clubs, T200’s today are more forgiving that last season’s T300’s? Holy. Cow. Unreal! Makes me want to upgrade my irons.

In simple terms and I can go much deeper on it soon. More weight generally speaking will help with initial launch. It will also act assist in gliding through the turf. This can be extremely helpful for so many golfers.
